Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) was established in 1966. The board is responsible for administering SSLC and other examination in the state. In the academic year 2006-07, for March 2007 examination nearly 8.15 Lac students appeared for the SSLC examination. The strength of students is increasing every year. The board has performed brilliantly in conducting different examination since its establishment.

The Board tries to improve the evaluation system and the results and hence Divisional Offices of the Board have been set up so as to centralize the students’ needs. The board has ventured to conduct the supplementary examination for the failed candidates of the SSLC examination of March in June month of every year itself. Successful students in June examination may join higher education courses from July itself.
